Welcome to The Magpie - my sanctuary where I document my adventures in the world of glitter, glamour and horology, and try to educate and provide guidance as I fly along.

My name is Hanna Hellberg, a.k.a. The Magpie, and I am a jewelry addict. This all started with one innocent podcast appearance (fact: I love to talk), and then things sort of escalated to where we are now…

 

You can hear me regularly in The Jewelry Podcast, its Swedish sister podcast Smyckespodden, both with my darling Cecilia, jewelry designer extraordinaire, and in the Klocksnack podcast where I host one episode per month together with the crown princess of vintage watches Sanna. I also run a business - The Magpie Jewels, where I find forever homes to vintage jewelry treasures and create custom pieces with gemstones I source - I specialize in antique cut diamonds.

Anyway, speaking of business: I run my own company where I help companies with their communications headaches and on occasion I am an expert sports commentator on TV.
